We have continued to go to Ambury Farm and at the end of term we had a BBQ. This was a treat provided by the Auckland Regional Council for the hard work we put in maintaining the farm.

Bairds Room 2 visit the snow!

On Tuesday 26th June 2012 Bairds Room 2 made a trip over the Harbour Bridge to Silverdale.  There they found some very cold, white, wet stuff they call SNOW!  Toboganning was the chosen sport of the day, although running and playing were also great fun too.

Room 4 news

We are all having lots of fun in room 4 and the students are all very enthusiastic about their topic.

Here are some nice pictures that we painted together.

Each of the students made their own portraits.

In term 2, we studied  the topic - here are some examples of our work.

Bairds 2 : Term 2 : Weather

In Term 2 we have been learning about the weather.   We looked at there being 4 seasons in the year and decided which ones we like the most.  We have studied the different types of weather and made lots of art around sun, rain, wind and snow.  As a class we have completed some science experiments including how to make a rainbow.
